I. Application Qualification

1. Bachelor's Degree Program

Applicant is under the age of 25, and is in good health, high-school graduate with good marks. The HSK score should reach level 5 or above

 2. Master's Degree Program

Applicant is under the age of 35, and is in good health, preferably with a Bachelor’s Degree or above. Certified academic records and 2 letters of recommendation by 2 associate professors are required. The HSK score should reach level 5 or above.

3. Doctor's Degree Program

Applicant is under the age of 45, and is in good health, preferably with a Master’s degree or above. Certified academic records and 2 letters of recommendation by 2 associate professors are required. The HSK score should reach level 6 or above.

4. Chinese Language Program

The applicants need to have a formal education background at the high school level or above, a good moral character, be aged 18-55 and in good health.

II. Application Materials

1. Bachelor's Degree Program

(1) Senior high school graduation certificate (in Chinese or English, the copies should be notarized)

(2) Certified academic records（copy and original）

(3) HSK transcript/Certificate（copy and original）

(4) Health certificates from a public hospital（needed when renewing visa）

(5) Certificate of acquired honor ( copy and original)

(6) copy of passport

(7) Passport-size Photo

2. Master's Degree Program

(1) Application for foreigners wishing to study at University of Science and Technology Beijing

(2) Graduation certificate and bachelor's degree diploma (the copies should be notarized)

(3) Certified academic records

(4) HSK score

(5) Health certificates from a public hospital

(6) Certificate of sponsor

(7) Recommendation letters from two scholars of associate professor status or higher

3. Doctor's Degree Program

(1) Application for foreigners wishing to study at University of Science and Technology Beijing

(2) Graduation certificate and master's degree diploma (the copies should be notarized)

(3) Certified academic records

(4) HSK score

(5) Health certificates from a public hospital

(6) Certificate of sponsor

(7) Recommendation letters from two scholars of associate professor or higher

4. Chinese Language Program

(1) The signed hard copy of the completed Foreigner's Application Form

(2) Latest academic diploma and academic record (photocopy)

(3) A photocopy of the first page of the applicant’s passport (ordinary passport), 

(4) Applicants in china should also provide the copy of valid Visa or Residence Permit.

(5) The applicants studying at another university in China must submit a Transfer Certificate issued by the home university.
